This is a subsection of the "geometrically improved, color enhanced" version of the first 360-degree panorama taken by the Imager for Mars Pathfinder. The "Sojourner" rover is visible at the right side of the frame, examining a rock which Jet Propulsion Laboratory scientists named "Yogi".

Full Panorama



This is the FULL enhanced view of Pathfinder's panorama. Different regions were imaged at various times over three Martian days to acquire consistent lighting and shadow conditions for all areas of the panorama.
